The Solar Thermal & Associated Renewable Storage specialization semester education program takes place in Font-Romeu, in the CNRS research laboratory associated with the big solar furnace in Odeillo.

How to get there
Font-Romeu Odeillo is located in the Eastern Pyrenees, 90 km away from Perpignan and 180 km from Barcelona. The closest airports are in Barcelona (Spain), Toulouse and Perpignan (France).
If you arrive by plane at Barcelona airport, take the Rodalies de Catalunya R2 North line train at Aeroport Cercanías train station (Terminal 2) to Barcelona Sants central station (every 30 min), or the Aerobùs to Plaça de Catalunya (every 10 min).
If you arrive by train from another location in Spain, it will most probably also be at Barcelona Sants central station.
Then take the R3 train (3 hours ride) to Puigcerdà (Spain) or Latour de Carol Enveitg (France), both 18 km from Font-Romeu.
From there take a taxi. From Latour de Carol, few times a day you can also take the lio 560 1€ bus and get off at “Font-Romeu Office du Tourisme” stop.
If you arrive by plane at Toulouse airport, you can reach Toulouse Matabiau SNCF central train station:
- take the tramway line T2 towards Palais de Justice, stop at Arènes station then take the metro line A towards Balma-Gramont.
- or take Airport Shuttle Tisséo AERO line (8€, every 20 min).
You may also arrive by train from Paris at Toulouse Matabiau.
If you arrive by plane at Perpignan airport, you can reach Perpignan Centre Del Mon/TGV central train station by taking Sankéo bus line 6 (navette aéroport, stop “Gare TGV”).
You may also arrive by train from Paris, Toulouse, Marseille, etc. N.B. The TGV and Centre Del Mon train stations are connected via a short walking underground tunnel.
The regional central bus station is very close to the train station by foot. From there, take the lio 560 1€ bus in the direction of Porté Puymorens and get off at “Font-Romeu Office du Tourisme” stop (2h30).
