In these times of confinement against Covid-19 in France and all over the world, French Universities and research labs are closed.
But it doesn’t mean that learning has to stop! Teachers work from home, and so do students.
Thanks to the abundance of numeric tools, the STARS Solar Thermal & Associated Renewable Storage semester goes on!
For instance, courses and tutorials are ensured on the Moodle platform of Perpignan University. This powerful online learning platform allows teaching and exchanging in many forms. Documents, weblinks and video sharing. Interactive lessons with questions. Assignment submission with deadlines. Online quizzes. Forum and chat discussions. And so on.
Teachers and students also organize live voice discussions and debriefs using Discord, Zoom, Skype, Jitsi, etc. And of course, there’s always the good old phone.
So keep up the good work, class 2020, and hang on! Let’s make the most of these unfortunate circumstances.
